Un jour, un jeune homme de 28 ans est venu pour la rééducation d'une rupture partielle du ligament croisé antérieur de son genou gauche - une blessure au foot. Je l'ai soigné avec un mélange de

⇾ drainage lymphatique manuel pour enlever l'œdème au niveau du genou,

⇾ massages (incluant des trigger-points) de toute la jambe pour détendre les muscles, ce qui enlève les tensions au niveau du genou (et donc les douleurs) et pour que la circulation puisse se faire plus facilement,

⇾ réflexologie plantaire pour l'autoguérison

⇾ microkinésithérapie également pour stimuler l'autoguérison.

Ce fut l'une de mes plus belles surprises de ma carrière quand le patient m'a donné le compte rendu d'un contrôle 4 mois après la blessure : plus aucune trace sur l'IRM ! Le médecin a regardé l'IRM 3D de tous les côtés, mais il n'a même plus trouvé l'endroit de la rupture alors que c'est comme n'importe quelle fracture d'os ou blessure de la peau : normalement, il y a une cicatrice...

One day a 28-year-old man came in for rehabilitation of a partial rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Injury while playing football. I treated him with a mixture of:

⇾ manual lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling in the knee,

⇾ massages (including trigger points) of the whole leg to relax the muscles, to take the tension off the knee (and thus also relieve the pain) and so that the circulation can flow more easily,

⇾ foot reflexology to stimulate self-healing powers

⇾ micro-physiotherapy also to stimulate self-healing.

It was one of the best surprises of my career when the patient gave me the report of a check-up 4 months after the injury: there was nothing to see on the MRI! The doctor looked at the 3D MRI from all directions, but could not even find the location of the lesion anymore, which is extremely surprising, because normally it is like bone fractures or scars on the skin, traces remain...
